The #SistersInLaw meet this week to look at encouraging developments from the DOJ on the prosecution of 1/6 insurrectionists, including their analysis of thousands of transcripts to track down those involved based on the crimes.  They also discuss the Buffalo shooter, the pernicious effects of The Great Replacement Theory, and how to fight back against extremism, then break down the many collateral effects of the leaked Dobbs decision.

DEBUGGER / DEFENDING DEMOCRACY FROM BIG TECH

DEBUGGER / DEFENDING DEMOCRACY FROM BIG TECH

Big Tech makes big decisions over our lives: What products we see, how we feel about world events, what to censor — to some degree, even what medical decisions we make. Yet who controls Big Tech? The firms are so powerful and rich they really act as judge and jury now. Increasingly, they are accountable to no one. “Defending Democracy (and us!) from Big Tech” is a 3-episode docu-series from the Debugger Podcast exploring the depths of the problem...and the potential for solutions.

    SCOTUS Rulings

    SCOTUS Rulings

The #SistersInLaw meet this week to lay out the future of abortion rights after the Supreme Court’s leak of the disasterous Dobbs draft opinion, how it threatens our other unenumerated rights, and the problems with textualism and originalism.  Then, they share how to take action, and discuss the unanimous ruling on what flags can fly over Boston’s city hall with a primer on the Lemon Test.

    The Stench: emergency episode

    The Stench: emergency episode

The #SistersInLaw get together for an emergency session to discuss the leak that Roe V. Wade will get overturned by the Supreme Court.  During it, they look at the role of stare decisis, and lay out the dangers of textualism and the extremism of the court’s conservative justices.  The ruling will be a giant step back for our rights and the Constitution, but as a silver lining, could it change the game going into the midterms?

Elderly forgetter ,

Fabulously grounding !

My Saturday mornings begin with the Sisters-In-Law. After a week of opinions, deception, drama and stress, it is soothing to spend some time with four women who see current issues with clear eyes!

Eagle Eye 2 ,

Love — Hate

This podcast is enlightening as well as entertaining. I look forward to listening to these strong, experienced, highly educated and respected women each week.
I find the ads phony and demeaning. I begin to question the hosts’ integrity when they are pitching the ad products.

real attorney and fan ,

Love the podcast but outsource the ads

There is no better podcast out there. I love it. But the ads…. At least have someone else read the ads. These women are losing credibility with me. And that makes me so very sad. Other podcasts don’t use the hosts to hawk stuff - why here????
