Home Sweet Home (Sloss and Humphries on the Road)

At the end of a long two year road, Sloss and Humphries put the fork in the "Can't" Tour (Although they will lick the plate with two extra shows in Dublin and London) For the next few months life will be conducted from their own homes, the boys bask in this fact while reflecting on their recent accomplishment and slipping straight back into the mould of being a lifestyle podcast. #32

Soz. We posted this on Patreon and announced we'd be taking a month off but commenced that time off before making the episode public. My bad. Enjoy a week late and we'll see you in July!

    Tour Bubble

    Tour Bubble

Practically delirious from being in a constant state of touring Muggins and Cream try to speculate what is going on in the world outside their bubble. Dangerously out of touch and uninformed they try to fix the worlds economy. Not too dissimilar to those in charge. They both speculate about being better gift givers within their friendship group then dismiss the notion immediately. How exhausting. #31

    Beef!

    Beef!

Muggins and Cream fly over to the west coast from New York to Seattle before their gig in Tacoma and bring up hypothetical comedy beefs and how they'd respond. Encouraging comedy to go the way of rap music they pick their three high profile beefs they'd start to further their career. #30

    Bad Coochie Breath

Muggins and Cream finally get around to your (sorry it's late) podcast after indulging themselves in a trip to Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios while touring through Florida with family Sloss. Wrong Border

Muggins and Cream get cozy on a bed in Chicago for their day off and recount their difficulty getting back into the states after a brief trip to Toronto. They receive a sizeable donation from country singer Willie Nelson in Detroit and befriend footballer and Kai's doppelgänger Matty Longstaff. #28

    Something Something

    Something Something

Muggins and Cream park the tour bus and step into a reservation casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut to drink daiquiri slushies and record your first episode of the USA tour 2024. With quite literally nothing to complain about in their lives (yet) the boys do the thing they do second best. Talk about filth. Cream wants a feature on pornhub where you can see which of your friends also watched the video. Kai accidentally shows a stranger a pooping selfie over breakfast. #27

Funny Witty Yet ….

Read the title. It’s funny.

I enjoy listening to this while I run. It’s hilarious, brings perspective and most importantly; it’s not a podcast that is meant to be so serious.

I have had to relisten to episodes because I didn’t understand the first time but it’s not their fault I wasn’t really listening to them. It also helps that since I’m learning to become a voice actor I can hear what Scotland feels like. (It’s a joke)

Thanks for making me laugh during one of the darkest times in my life.

I love your podcast. Keep up the good work and the random words that none of us “muricans” can understand.

Consistently funny, but too woke

When I first saw Daniel Sloss’s Netflix special I went on a binge, listened to hours of this podcast and loved it. Thought he was a genius. Muggins and Cream are consistently hilarious and obviously they are very intelligent and witty. I love the way their minds work. I like especially their friendship dynamic, where Sloss has a “let it rip” attitude and Humphries is a subtle and clever manipulator of the conversation.

I gave the podcast a 5 star review but am now downgrading to 4 stars.

This past year the podcast has been hard to listen to because Daniel is tone-deaf when it comes to the biggest feminist issues of our time, the gender critical issue, and also blind to Critical Race Theory extremism. These guys are stuck in a progressive bubble. They call themselves feminists but deny cancel culture exists, complain that it is a boomer issue. I feel like they are too old to be expressing the “don’t trust anyone over 30” sentiment. Sometimes they seem to suffer from arrested development. (Fart jokes, gross discussions.) They think anyone who disagrees with them is a boomer or a conservative (not so).

I would recommend people listen to the older episodes first, especially from the beginning when they were touring, but not the post-lockdown episodes.

Muggle Corner Suggestion

I believe that it is “muggley” to have come up with the concept of “muggle corner” and then turned it into a bit for the podcast.
(I’m really stoned and definitely overthought all of that)
Yours is the only podcast I listen to.
I love you
