Best Cycling News on the Ear Waves

It is official. The Slow Ride Podcast is now the best cycling podcast on the ear waves. I came to this realization when I was forced to choose between listening to the Velonews podcast or the Slow Ride podcast. I did not have time to listen to both. (The content is very similar.) Velonews has long been the preeminent source for racing news. Velonews has always been the gold standard in its field. I never thought that I would forsake Velonews for another source, however when I was forced to decide, I went with the Slow Ride! This is akin to forsaking the New York Times in order to read the Cape Coral Daily Breeze. I guess I would rather get my racing news and insights from the little guy and his friends. Keep up the stellar reporting, Slow Ride!

Always off the front

So here's the situation. You're joining your local group ride and missed the rondezvous point. No worries, Tim, Spencer, and Little Guy are with you. You'll meet up with them at the base of Hincapie Hill. It's going to take a team effort to get there fast.

Well, Tim's the road captain, he's got these roads covered and makes sure the those two left turns don't turn into right hand benders to the coffee shop. Time is of the essence, but Spencer is keeping the group together and keeping the it light and easy. Now we actually have to get Hincapie. Ahhh yes, Little Guy is off the front, half Shleck'd, powering the trio with his suave pedal strokes on his single speed Klein. Well for me, I am off the back taking it all in. Keep it up fellas. See you at the top of the hill!

BIKES

Love the banter, and general nerdy bike geek nature of the podcast.

I just wish some coverage was given to the EWS or the World Cup DH series.
