Fairly well done, wouldn’t call it all fact

This podcast was well put together with a lot of fun detail. However, there isn’t any conclusive evidence that Walter Reca was definitely DB Cooper. Odd that a highly and very intensely trained paratrooper (and someone who has committed robbery before) would be so scared and nervous that he conveniently wouldn’t remember so many things, let alone his many claims that nothing was planned when this whole scheme was very clearly planned in detail. A fun hypothesis, but not sure it should be touted as complete fact and truth.

North by Northwest Orient

The show absurdly claims that some random Ripcord Ralph was D. B. Cooper. Nay! Clues suggest Archibald Leach, AKA Cary Grant, was the debonair skyjacker. One revised FBI composite is known by Flight 305 mavens as the “Cary Grant” sketch. Geronimo! Roll credits.

Not convinced :/

I understand the guy who is interviewing Walter is not a trained investigator, however it’s really a shame that he leads him to all the answers when he gets done asking a question. It’s also interesting that Walter doesn’t remember much about the Hijacking itself, he seems to only recant things that have been made public knowledge or again he is being led to the correct answer by his friend. Then as soon as you ask about the landing his memory is all of a sudden very vivid, and I think that’s because as a trained parachutist he has plenty of memories to choose from about jumping out of a plane but probably never highjacked one so he was just making it up as he went along. All around very interesting to listen to, but not very convincing at all sadly.
