My favorite Friday historic brain candy
This podcast provides an entertaining, irreverant take on history. If the irreverant part is a problem, them maybe this isn't for you, and it completely desreves the Parental Advisory. The topic selections are outside of what I've heard before and the discussions between the hosts are excellent. It's a very different perspective from the one I have. And the sound effects (beers being opened, I think) are fantastic. For the nasty women putting this together... please keep going. Thank!
Very annoying
Quit saying “like” and talking like a valley girl. Super annoying
Disappointed
Rachel Carson was such an incredible woman and this podcast did not do her justice. The audobon society catalogues and tracks birds and works to conserve habitats. It is not just a German freeway. And her efforts to eradicate the use of ddt as a pesticide was monumental. Sorry you didn’t want to read all that stuff off the Wikipedia page. More important to focus on the salacious details of her sexual preference... disappointed
