A soothing voice , and good stories !
Music too loud and distracting

I love the idea and general style. Your voice is great. But the music is very distracting. I am not able to focus on the story to the point that I turn it off. Its an overkill- too loud and the style of the music asks too much because it is pretty music that my brain grabs into. I want to listen to the story- not split my attention between the two. I hope you will consider softer, very subtle music instead. Or no music at all. Thanks!
Forever fan

The wait is finally over! So excited to experience this new endeavor from Thersa Matsuura and the Uncanny Japan crew. After the promising first episode I’m looking forward to hearing more ‘Soothing Stories’!
We need to be soothed now more than ever

Thersa Matsuura and her small team who create this new gem (as well as the Uncanny Japan podcast) are simply an auditory blessing to humanity during these awful, trying times. Stories and folklore connect humanity, and at a time when humanity is so incredibly disconnected, this podcast is such a gift. Thank you for all your hard work and passionate dedication to this podcast and Uncanny Japan.
I have found my new favorite podcast

I stumbled across Thersa Matsuura’s original podcast Uncanny Japan in my search for folk lore and dark tales and I fell in love. So here I am so excited for this new podcast, Her voice is so soothing it doesn’t matter if the story is Erie, you will still find yourself sucked into the tales and forgetting about the world (helpful right now). I recommend listening while soaking in a bubble bath by candle light, happy listening.
