Almost every single village in Spain has a fiesta where they party for days, a tradition that dates back hundreds of yearsWhether people are covered in oil and paint at Cascamorras, wine at the Haro wine fight, tomatoes at La Tomatina, turnips at Jarramplas, flour at Els Enfarinats or whatever it may be, the locals in the village board up their windows because they simply love the festivals.
