Would love it if more episodes were added. Very helpful.
So Helpful!
This is the best podcast I’ve found for learning Spanish at beginner or intermediate level. He speaks slowly enough to understand easily, but not ridiculously slowly— he speaks at the rate of a laid-back, thoughtful English speaker, so it’s still within the realm of natural speech, which makes it easier to understand.
He also almost always uses only words that you learn in a good first-year class, and the rare times he uses one that’s less common, he slows down and explains. Some “slow Spanish” podcasts are so extremely slow it interferes with understanding, and/or use to many advanced words that it’s hard to even get the gist. But Carlos has studied several languages so he understands what helps in learning. He speaks clearly in a warm and pleasant voice. I feel like I’m in class with a kind teacher who really cares whether we learn.
I love this podcast!
It’s a great resource to learn beginners Spanish. Highly recommend
