This is the place where Utah politics tastes good. Where the stories are covered in fry sauce and you can boost your civic IQ without all the campaigning, cajoling and cross-talk. This is politics, the Utah way.

Turns out, Utah just isn’t that into MAGA candidates
What do the candidates who won in the Utah primary show us about the state of Utah’s Republican Party? Especially as we look to young people and the future?
-
It’s a Grand Old (emphasis old) Party
The primary is coming! We take a deep dive into messaging and examine what “brand” of conservative politics does and doesn’t get through to the Gen Z and Millennial voters in Utah.
-
Why politics give Gen Z the ick
Utah is the youngest state in the union but you wouldn't know that by looking at who's voting. It's primary season and we wanted to why the youth seem disengaged.
-
Utah’s hot primary summer
Even though we’re months away from November, Utahns still need to pay attention to what goes down THIS month.
-
Hey party primary people! State Street is back
We’re walking you through the upcoming June 25 primary. Which is kind of the big freaking deal election in Utah, especially if you’re a registered Republican.
-
45 days later: Record budget, record bills. Now what?
WE MADE IT!!! After a loooong 45 days, the Legislature smacked that gavel! Sine die!
Customer Reviews
Straightforward, succinct, digestible, and a little fun
Straightforward, succinct, digestible, and a little fun, too. Appreciate these bite-sized looks into current Utah conditions and issues.
Useful info. Annoying sound effects
This remains a decent way to keep abreast of Utah’s frantic legislative session. It has some good interviews and is very even handed
I don’t know what happened this year, but the inclusion of goofy sound effects throughout disrupts the tone and objectively offends the ear. They are too loud and add nothing to the otherwise perfectly straight laced reporting.
Either make it a straightforward reporting show or make it a lively commentary with personality and silliness. I could enjoy either. As it is, I have skipped whole episodes because I couldn’t endure the stupid noises punctuating every third sentence
Funnest politics podcast in the West!
I LOVE listening to Saige and Sean. They make Utah politics accessible, and (believe it or not) fun. The information is digestible and that’s a big plus. #LetSaigeSing
