Your podcast is great! Thank you so much understanding and appreciating On the Beach as a masterpiece. It’s one of my favorites for all the reasons you talk about and overall for being a very sad but mature assessment of the end of us and everything. The grim reality of end-of-the-world scenarios can be made profound and strangely almost transcendent -I’m thinking Melancholia here- and On the Beach embraces that possibility. Thanks again and I’m looking forward to listening to all your episodes that I need to catch up on. 💓

Scott and Julian do a great job of analyzing and Deep Diving well known Science Fiction classic movies to some of the lesser known ones. They find what’s great, the plot holes, and how they would improve upon it. Also if you become a Patron, hearing their Trekking Through The Twilight Zone is no less fun and just as well analyzed. I highly recommend this podcast.

Stories out of Time and Space goes beyond being a science fiction fandom podcast. While it accomplishes this with passion and love, the hosts are also incredibly informative sharing interesting analysis and bits of trivia. It avoids being overly critical and is easy to listen to.
