Hi there! We are a blended family of four who are passionate about camping, nature, the great outdoors, physical activity, health, & being all-around good Canadians! We would love to inspire others to get outside & explore all that our beautiful country has to offer. Camping fosters an appreciation of nature, physical fitness, & emotional well-being. Despite being high-tech kids, our kids love camping! We asked them to help inspire your kids. Their creations are in our Kids section. For the adults, we would love to share our enthusiasm for camping, review some of our favourite camping gear, share recipes & menus, tips & how-to's, & anything else you may want to know about camping. Got a question about camping? Email us so we can help you & anyone else who may be wondering the same thing. We are real people, with a brutally honest bent. So sorry for the delay folks! It's been a bit of a challenge to get rid of our 1st case of echo on an episode. This is a great one & I didn't want to put out a version that didn't do justice to a truly wonderful guest.
He made his first backpack at 13 years old. A couple or so decades later he continues to make some of the most sought after packs in the canoeing community.
We talk about his favourite things about canoeing the backcountry, pack design, manufacturing and durability, working with other designers, tump lines, and a brand new product coming out this spring.

Two of our favourite people, one of Tim's sisters and her wife drop by to tell us about a semi-recent land purchase that happened a couple of hours north east of Toronto. They're part of a collection of folks that got together specifically to do this, with the intent of being good land stewards. Helping others connect or reconnect with nature.
