Kayla is such a good listener and so empathetic to everyone’s experiences. She gives everyone the time and space to share their story, so you can hear all the details! I’m in my 2nd pregnancy and look forward to having Kayla as my doula for this birth! Everytime I hear her motto I’m reminded to leave this birth in God’s hands!

I am pregnant with my 5th daughter (surprise! 🤪) and scheduled for a 5th c section this February. At the beginning of this pregnancy, I was diagnosed with a moderate to large hematoma and given a 50% chance of the pregnancy surviving beyond 12 weeks. I was in a dark place of dealing with the surprise of being pregnant AGAIN when I felt so complete and satisfied with my already big family as well as the complications and health concerns my doctors were discussing with me. This podcast has helped me to surrender my fearful thoughts and trust the lord to carry me through this 5th c section, no matter the outcome. God has healed my hematoma in my 20th week and I know he has big plans for this baby girl’s life. Thank you for the encouragement and knowledge I have gained in listening to this podcast. I only wish I’d found it sooner so I would’ve had the courage and education to stand up for myself more after my 1st or 2nd c sections.

I have listened to many birth podcasts over the years while prepping for my own. I also consume it when I’m not pregnant, I’m kind of a birth connoisseur you could say. Out of all the different ones, Surrendered Birth is my favorite. The vulnerability of Kayla and her guests is felt and appreciated. No matter how joyful or difficult the story; it always gets pointed back to God. Something that isn’t often done in our culture. Highest praises for the bravery and heart it takes to share this content with the world.

It is incredible to see Kayla’s heart in honoring Jesus in teaching and allowing a place for women (and men) the incredible design of birth. So thankful to have women around in the Triad that have this type of heart. Definitely want to listen to all of these!!
