Listener Questions: How do I let my ex know that I've changed?

Listener Questions: How do I let my ex know that I've changed?

This week on Swoon, Gina and Julie created a special Q&A episode for our supporters on Patreon. If you didn't know this already, Swoon is completely funded by your support on Patreon. And one of the perks of joining us on Patreon is a bonus episode each month. This month we asked our patrons to send us their questions and we chose 2 for a bonus episode. We had so much fun answering these questions that we wanted to share one of the questions with our regular listeners too.
This listener shared that he realizes he was apathetic in his last relationship and wants to let his ex know that he changed. Julie and Gina talked about different things to think about when contacting someone from your past. They also talked about how trust is built and demonstrated in relationships.
They also answered a listener question from a parent who wants to know about conflict and repair in front of kids. You can find the answer to that question and the full episode on Patreon. Thank you so much for your support!

One of the best podcasts I’ve listened to

I discovered this podcast on accident and it truly is so good that I have shared it with all my friends… even shared it with my server at dinner last night! I think everyone, single or not, can benefit from this podcast. It really has helped me create a self awareness around my needs and desires in a way I didn’t really think I needed. I also have really enjoyed working through the workbooks with my partner. We’ve already learned quite a bit about each other.

The Absolute Best!!

Julie and Gina are geniuses who have opened my eyes and helped me be more compassionate to myself and others. They talk about sex and relationships in such a down-to-earth, practical, and kind way. I have learned so much. I honestly feel like they took me by the hand and gently guided me to understand and accept my sexuality and intimacy in relationships…They have given me tools and ways of thinking I would never otherwise have had. (I was one of those people who only had very rudimentary sex ed in the 90s, and went on to be an adult with very little sexual experience who never really shared her desires with her partners.) They also both have awesome laughs. Listen to this podcast and feel better!!!
