You're not afraid of anything anymore. You're ready to take on any challenge, whatever life throws at you. Having endured the worst, there's very little left out there that can really scare you, but here it is. It's the reminders of what you could be again as soon as you let your guard down, as soon as your friends forget about you, as soon as you lose just a little bit of credit, that slight bit of validation, and go at it truly on your own.

It's a comedy variety show hosted by a optimistic trans woman who tries really hard. She works really hard on it. She has that indie spirit. She is the manifestation of your worst nightmares :)

Refreshingly intense

Okay so I am really into emotional vulnerability. I like when podcasts have "real" moments where it feels like you are listening to actual people with actual feelings. This podcast is pretty much entirely composed of emotional vulnerability. It is raw and honest, but with an unexpected poetry and self effacing dry humor about it that makes it more than just an unloading of emotions. It all feels like it has coherency, and even when it's intense the intensity is there for a purpose and to serve a greater meaning.

nothing like it in the world

Like a modern variety show, where there is always a hidden gem waiting around the corner. It hits that perfect note of sad, funny, and bleak that is hard to do justice in a review. The songs are catchy and the characters are fascinating and flawed. The skits really stayed with me long after listening to them. A one of a kind podcast for the strange times we live in.

Could use more hope

...but the podcast is otherwise fantastic. Beautifully creative, insightful, and entertaining storytelling, despite the depressing subject matter. Keep it up!
