I still enjoy this pod, but miss when it was *just* Dateline episodes they pulled from the TV. The new added episodes are a bit patronizing, IMO. Also, I’ve noticed repeating some older episodes from years ago?

Just listened to Deadly Obsession. I enjoy the episodes but Andrea Canning needs to back off when talking to people, she constantly talks over them, interrupts them, is overly dramatic and multiple dumb questions and obvious statements. Hence lower review. Just let the story speak for itself. Don’t enjoy the Talking Dateline episodes so stopped listening to those.

Love this show! 100% would recommend to anyone. The repetition of clips gets a little annoying but outside of that great job 😁

Love these stories, but Andrea has GOT to simmer down a little. I’m shocked by how many times she talks over the guests. Inserting her own reactions and responses instead of allowing them to finish their own. We know yours, Andrea, you tell us in the outtakes. PLEASE let the guests tell their stories, and please stop with your dramatized input. It’s distracting and frustrating.

I was a subscriber, but gave up my membership in August. Why? The quality of this podcast has slipped. Nobody wants talking dateline. The podcast has little new content and the producers seem to lazily rehash old stories. Andrea Canning’s technique is awful. For example asks detective, “why do you think the suspect purchased a duct tape, wire, bleach, ethylene glycol, and a shovel?” I mean come on. Sometimes you can pick up the guest being interviewed is like why are you asking me a kindergarten question? I now skip episodes with Andrea. I also skip talking dateline. I fast forward through the awful Honda commercials. Same for the stupid Sunday Sitdown guy - it’s so lame. It’s not a great experience and I’m almost ready to skip the entire podcast. What can you do to win us back? More original format episodes. More Keith M. You have a winning formula, stick to it. Listen to your customers.

They need a feed just for Dateline.

Love the show and the podcast but someone has to do something about the horrible editing!!! At least three times in most episodes, they repeat seconds or minutes that were just played. Very annoying to have to keep fast forwarding because I’ve just heard this segment. This results in the podcast ending abruptly and often the ending isn’t aired.

The people want more episodes with The Mank!!

I love Dateline. They do true crime right. I just wish they like all the network shows would stop treating us like morons. Stop repeating stuff. Playing a bunch of sound bites and interviews and then playing those exact same clips again is maddening. Each time i have to look to see if i rewound on accident. Nope they just think im dumb and need to hear it twice. Please stop that. Otherwise amazing show.
