Talking Renfield with Robert Kirkman & Chris McKay Talking Strange Paranormal Show

In the new horror comedy monster movie Renfield, Nicolas Cage plays the iconic Count Dracula, and Nicholas Hoult plays his long suffering assistant/familiar Renfield. When Renfield decides to enter codependency therapy, the movie explores what it's like working for the world's worst boss for centuries. In this episode, producer Kirkman talks about the gory humor, and the Universal Monster-verse, as well as the origins of his story idea. Director Chris McKay also joins the show to discuss his love of Dracula, the various iterations of the character shown in the movie, and what it's like to work with Nic Cage.
