Dan makes the Tanakh relatable through humor and pop culture references. Definitely recommend for someone who wants to add a new dimension to Tanakh study. Crucially Dan augments storytelling but never loses the spirit of the original text.

Found this podcast through Judaism Unbound. Funny, irreverent, Dan brings knowledge of all aspects of learning to bear on the tanakh. I don't know that I'd have read it otherwise.
