Todd Smith and Jody Sanders have interviewed so many professionals, I have a much better understanding of how appellate courts work behind the scenes, the types of arguments they like and do not, and they do it all with humor and curiosity. If you are an attorney(you don’t have to be appellate) listening to these episodes will help you become a better one.

Todd Smith and Jody Sanders, two of the greatest civil appellate lawyers in Texas, conduct excellent interviews on diverse topics of interest to Texas litigation attorneys. The Texas Bar should give CLE credit for this podcast, but that would put them out of business.

I’m a judicial clerk with no experience in Texas appellate practice. Yet I listen to this podcast weekly. The guests are extraordinary, and the value of their insight extends well beyond the Lone Star State.
