You will learn about the progressive ideas working their way into the industry, and also what you can do to help the cause.

Helen is always a balanced and insightful voice into the movie world, and this podcast is no exception. The conversations are always well thought out and worthwhile, while being kind and generally enthusiastic about movies and Hollywood silliness!

I listened to this audiobook as I realized that I would enjoy it so much more listening to Helen herself rather than listening to myself as I read it. The podcast is even better - I have learned so much from the book. And again from the podcast. I really like the format - insertions of specific interviews that help emphasize a point or a perspective. I love film. Old old films and new films. But I have also been in technology as a female leader for almost 30 years (mobile phones) and the similarities are astonishing in the way women have been treated. I hate that phrase - as if we have asked for being in this position, like a small child looking for any recognition or inclusion - but the numbers as you covered in this episode speak for themselves. Film mirrors our lives - representation needs to change. Thanks Helen for carrying on the good fight and bringing more conversation to the topic! Cheers!
