Thoroughly enjoy listening to this podcast. I’d highly recommend for any Arsenal fan

One of my favorite podcasts to listen to. Love the content. You guys are doing an awesome job. For me you come just slightly second to the Handbrake off podcast, and that’s only because I am a big fan of Adrian. But I really look forward to your shows. Thanks Oh yeah, Clive is a Gem

AVP is great — I listen to almost every episode, including patreon eps; such is the rabid Arsenal fan’s voracious appetite for content. I love the in-depth, nuanced, intelligent analysis, and I’ve learned a lot from them since I started listening about 5 years ago. BUT, sometimes it’s just too much tonnage, with a lot of repetition. (Paul will never say something with 100 words when 10,000 will do.) Host Elliott also tends to be very immersed in the online/twitter fan culture, which I avoid for it’s toxicity and overall dumbness, and assumes we know what he’s referencing from that world. I’d wager many fans/listeners are like me, and simply don’t. So while he’ll decry the toxicity of that discourse, at the same time can be shrill and bombastic and contribute to it at the same time. This is coming off more critical than I intend, as I do love the pod and the guys. (Clive is the standout - wise, calm, sharp, and with a unique humanistic lens on the game and the players.) So give it a listen!

Make it a Clive and Tim show and take the fast talking yank away. He’s not nearly qualified to be on the same platform and loves the sound of his own voice. A bit annoying. Last Arsenal pod of value I’ll listen to at any one time, which is a shame because Clive and Tim are the best!

I owe it to these charismatic, insightful, passionate, and hilarious humans to leave them a glowing review. Years of joy shared with AVP enhancing my love of Arsenal. Huge gratitude. Keep knockin em in.

Bunch of top guys discussing a top group of young men. Briefly met Elliot at goonerpalooza in 2023, as well as Paul. At that point I’d only listened on Apple podcast, and not seen anyone’s face, but being at the event I found I didn’t need to see Elliot’s face at o hear who he was lol. All jokes aside, he was a top guy who was super easy to talk to, and even thought I didn’t speak to paul as much he was top notch as well. Even though I haven’t met tim, and Clive, I do feel like I know them after listening to each pod over the time I have. They’ve helped me understand difficult spells with the team, and celebrated with me during good ones. Without a doubt something I look forward to weekly, and they always find a way to make me laugh, even in difficult times I’ve faced this year(non arsenal related). Top content, top guys, and hopefully get to speak with any of you at goonerpalooza again this year.

Rational, tactical, analytical discussions (mostly). These guys are fun. Satiate your appetite for the Arsenal between the matches. The moment a new pod is available is nearly as exciting as kickoff on match day.

I listen to a couple arsenal podcasts but this is my favorite, it’s the perfect mix of fun and enjoying the highs while also informative and down to earth when needed.
