Pieced it together

I am a mom of a adult male who has been struggling for years with feeling odd and less then everyone around him. Although this was geared towards moms it was extremely helpful for me to finally start to understand this disorder of the neurological system. I feel like this is our first step towards really helping him deal with anger and depression. Thank you

Kirst and Ames- I am so grateful for your companionship in my ears over this past uncertain year of Covid. I started by listening to the oldest episodes first and then added in the new episodes when you began your daily ISO series. I’ve laughed and cried along with you and made tons of progress on my decluttering journey. Your Facebook community is a special place where I have been inspired and cheered on by others on the same path to freedom. Your compassion, empathy, grace, and love just shine through all you do. Thank you, thank you!

Affirming!

Too often, the work done at home - often by women - is not given proper value. In generations past, women had fewer professional options, but at least were culturally taught that the work done at home is real work. I think this sentiment has faded into the background - though the work is still there. I’m very organized, but my family of five still keeps me busy and it can be hard to tackle the challenges of house and home. The Art of Decluttering keeps me motivated and affirms that what I do for my family and home matters.

Also - thanks for the Michigan shout-out! We in Michigan usually say we’re “Michiganders.”
(And with the competitive rivalry between University of Michigan and Michigan State, many also identify as being either Wolverines or Spartans.). Still loving the show -
