She’s Made of Chocolate and Bronze, and I Just Want to Sop Her Up - Ashley and Joel Discuss Queen of the Damned, the movie

Ashley and Joel are back again with a review/discussion of the startlingly bad 2002 film, Queen of the Damned. We cover the amazing Aaliyah, the abysmal script, the absolute minefield that is creating a “rockstar” for a movie and more in this episode. We also discuss the news of our new showrunner, Dee Johnson.

The Queen of the (Bad Word) - Ashley and Joel Discuss Queen of the Damned, the novel - AC008

Ashley and Joel are back in the saddle to discuss the third Vampire Chronicle, Queen of the Damned. This sprawling historical fantasy epic leads to some great conversation about what makes Anne’s vampires stick out from the rest of the supernatural pack, and why we’re still so anxious to see and read their stories 30 years plus later.Join us on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/articulatecoven/Leave a review in Apple Podcasts if you’re loving the show and come back soon to hear our discussion of the Queen of the Damned film starring Aaliyah.

SPOILER FREE (AT FIRST) Discussion of "Blood Communion" The Latest novel from Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles - AC007

Joel is running solo to discuss the latest Vampire Chronicle, Blood Communion, just out in early October 2018. Don't worry if you haven't read the book, we start off spoiler free so join us if you haven't already purchased your copy and see if this adventure is for you.

If you've finished the book, like Joel, stick around for some spoiler discussion (all as the preamble to our eventual full episode when the fanbase at large has caught up).

It's a short one, (both the book and this episode) but there's meat (or at least a lot of blood) in this one.

Join our Facebook group to continue the discussion at http://articulatecoven.com/facebook/

And share the show with all your Anne Rice/Lestat loving friends!

Excellent Podcast

This podcast has made my week. I have been looking and looking for a podcast discussing Anne Rice and the books and movies forever. This was the first fandom and characters that I ever cared about and I am so excited for the series and this podcast. Thank you !!

Entertaining & informative

I got into reading Anne Rice after the release of the Interview with the Vampire movie back in 1994 & rememeber getting the 1st four books as a gift. Read through them quickly & read her other works like The Mummy, The Mayfair Witches, etc. She was certainly a gateway author for me into other stuff like Stephen King, Nancy Collins, Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman, etc. Though I haven't read any of her stuff in quite some time I do look forward to the hearing these guys discuss The Vampire Chronicles books in chronological order. Love listening to this podcast at work or in the car.

Right on time!

Excited to stumble into this podcast! I watched Interview with the Vampire last night and decided to check if there were any podcasts discussing one of my favorite movies! I love the enthusiasm of the hosts as they lovingly discuss the best bites of Lestat news. I didn't even hear about the impending series so that was a real treat! Thanks guys! I'll be listening!
