Ahhh MAN, these two (plus friends and guests)!!!! Currently watching Buffy with my husband (his first time around, and he’s loving it)—and I, as someone who couldn’t bring myself to watch past Once More With Feeling when it came out—nor since!—am excited to finally buckle in and finally finish this beloved series that was so transformative for me as a pre/teen. Having Buffering be the companion podcast we are both listening to as we do our full series watch has been the funnest experience! Buffy is for everyone, sure, but he and I are each truly thrilled to have found a podcast done with such a proudly queer, feminist approach. Jenny and Kristin are the perfect hosting duo, due to their tremendously likable personalities and creativity; and their being so genuine and transparent regarding their personal journey through life together makes me respect, adore, and appreciate them all the more. It’s been soooo great to be in the current time (March 2025) and bounce back and forth between the original, spoiler-free releases; and now these blessed, brand new “once more” re-do’s as they are released! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Buffering team, for your commitment and enthusiasm! If only I could convey what a boost of serotonin your voices have been. I only wish I had been one of thousands who found you far sooner! 🩵

I’ve been listening to Kristin and Jenny’s podcasts since literally day 1 of buffering. When their episodes drop I get a little dopamine burst. They are the best part of my day and I recommend listening to them to anyone who has ever watched any of the shows they recap. They are simply the best in the game. Perfectly produced, amazing banter, jingles galore. They have everything!
