Will we have bodies? In Magnolia, by going back there from my deathbed (or Lou’s deathbed), I am setting up his journey to heaven – a new journey where time and life change. A joyful change. Guided by his guardian angel (Micah), Lou starts afresh, yet that start, for him, is very similar to the joys he experienced in Magnolia when he was nine years old. I don’t go deep into religion or scripture in this book, rather I decided to “show” the reader via Lou’s journey through the first stage of heaven – a stage that is almost comprehensible to us in the earthly realm.
