Not many people know that Canada discovered the Beatles one full year before the States did. Piers Hemmingsen is probably the foremost Canadian expert on the Beatles, and he is a curator of the new “From Me To You: The Beatles in Canada 1964-1966” exhibit at the National Music Centre in Calgary. And he has a great story to tell.
