    Christelle Pellecuer is a certified coach empowering black adoptees to navigate their adoption story and identity, fostering self-awareness, personal growth, and success. With a background in diverse sectors such as higher education, beauty and fashion, arts and culture, and charity, Christelle brings a unique perspective to her coaching practice. As the host of the Black Adoptees Identities podcast, Christelle is dedicated to amplifying the voices and experiences of adult adoptees. Christelle is also a multidisciplinary creative, in areas of fashion, film and writing exploring issues around culture, heritage and identity.     Episode 51: Passionately exchanging knowledge while on a journey to self discovery w/ Jody Belcon

    Celebrating two decades in education, Jody began her journey by establishing a tutoring business at the age of 16. She has contributed to international education for eight years, spending four in Kurdistan, Iraq, and currently marking her fourth year in China. Jody holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Mathematics from Andrews University (USA). She pursued further studies, obtaining a Master's in Environmental Science from the University of the West Indies and a Master's in Education from the University of South Wales (UK). Currently immersed in their doctoral thesis in education, Jody continues to shape the future of learning for children around the globe.     Cheryl-Ann Weekes is a High School Counselor who has worked globally since 2010, she currently lives in Dubai. Cheryl-Ann is an expert in social emotional counseling, mental health and university counseling. She loves the opportunity to have individual conversations with her students and uses quotes from her favorite authors to teach lessons about resilience, self esteem and mental health to her students. Cheryl-Ann created Weekes Enterprise, LLC in 2022 because she is passionate about the need to normalize going to therapy and creating workshops on mental health, psychological safety, boundaries, and consent for her students and community. She has done workshops with ISS, CIS, ISCA, AMISA, AIELOC, English Schools Foundation. In April 2020, Vanessa joined the FDA Office of Global Policy and Strategy (OGPS) to serve as the Country Director for the FDA OGPS China Office located in Beijing, China. In this role, Vanessa leads an in-country team of up to 25 U.S. direct hires and 7 international staff who all work to strengthen the safety, quality and effectiveness of billions of dollars of food, pharmaceutical and medical device products produced in China for the United States market. At the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, the FDA China Office works closely with inter agency partners USDA, USTR and FCS Commercial Affairs on the trade aspects of commodity supply chain and commerce activities that intersect with FDA's mission of protecting and promoting the public health of Americans by ensuring regulatory compliance with food, drug and device safety rules.     Episode 46: Getting 1% better and expanding my life and community with Dr. Aaron Jones

    Dr. Aaron Jones has lived in Qatar for the last 4 years. All of Dr. Jones' educational experiences have focused on human thought, human development, human behavior, and human learning. Dr. Jones leans on his academic, professional, and personal experiences when supporting students' mental health, watching them catch glimpses of their greatness in the university application process at the American School of Doha (ASD). Dr. Jones also enjoys speaking, publishing articles in professional literature and conferences, and sitting on university advisory boards. Lastly, Dr. Jones was most recently the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Justice (EDIJ) Curriculum Coach at (ASD). In this role, he was charged with ensuring the curriculum is socially and emotionally safe and reflective of the many identities present within the American School of Doha community. However, this upcoming school year, Dr. Jones will serve as the Head Guidance and College placement at ASD. Dr. Jones is also a university professor teaching Masters and Doctoral students at Saint Joseph's University. Dr. Jones lives by the following words, " I laugh and joke, but I don't play!"
