They then talk about the weird dissonance of the Delve Deck's growing popularity on TikTok and how it is both gratifying yet still gives Meredith the ick.
Tess then reads a lengthy IG comment from the rarest of Pokémon: the misogynist-sympathizing pick-me troll wife!

This week Meredith & Tess indulge in one of their favorite pastimes: complaining about other people! 
There are of course the usual suspects: your social media trolls, your IRL Karens, your low-level authority figures on a power trip, etc. 
But there are also the less obviously tiresome twits who think every comedy sketch Boredwalk posts to social media is a documentary, or that every song Taylor Swift and countless other musicians write are 100% autobiographical descriptions of their life experiences, or that creative work more broadly — including the clothes and tools and furniture we all buy and use every day — just poofed into existence with zero forethought or intention or years of training and practice behind their genesis. It's enough to make those of us who DO recognize the work behind the stuff we take for granted want to scream as we walk into the ocean.
Meredith then discusses her recent efforts to reverse Boredwalk's fortunes, both practical and magical, before Tess shares some dispatches from the aforementioned Land of Social Media Trolls. If only we could transfer our curses to them!

Meredith and Tess discuss the wrecking ball that Meta (aka the parent company of Facebook and Instagram) has thrown through Boredwalk's operations since the start of 2024 due to its persistently broken and volatile ad platform. This leads to a conversation about the things that Boredwalk is being forced to do to survive, including layoffs and testing the shark-infested waters of selling on Amazon.
To add insult to economic injury, they react to a recent foul-mouthed email our customer service team received from a person who purchased a counterfeit Boredwalk t-shirt from some obviously shady scam website yet somehow was able to figure out what our email address is. Bruh, our website is literally in the email address. So close, yet still so far!
So not only did they give money to a criminal who stole our original art instead of purchasing the authentic product from us directly, but they then decided to yell at us about it. Fun times!
Thankfully, actual customer Serena had very nice things to say about her recent Delve Deck purchase. Unfortunately, non-customer Deb decided it was a good idea to complain on an ad for our activity books that she is allergic to paper and therefore does all HER puzzles and games on her tablet. Cool story, Deb, thank you for sharing!
