About Steve Robinson:
Steve is a consultant, author, and speaker on organizational culture design and leadership, brand strategy development, marketing planning, and distinctive advertising principles.
Robinson is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Chick-fil-A, Inc. (1981 to 2015). Prior to joining the company, Steve was the director of marketing for Six Flags Over Georgia theme park in Atlanta. This role was preceded by marketing positions at two other Six Flags Properties and Communications Manager at Texas Instruments.
After beginning his career at Chick-fil-A as Director of Marketing, Steve went on to serve as Vice President of the department before becoming Chief Marketing Officer. In his most recent role, he was responsible for overseeing marketing, advertising, brand development, menu development, and hospitality strategies. During Steve's tenure, Chick-fil-A grew from 184 stores and $100 million to 2,100 stores and $6.8 billion and became one of the most iconic brands of our time.

Joanne Mathews: Guest Speaking Presentations
This is a classic re-run of my episode with Joanne Mathews.
Joanne offers her clients all the skills and experience she gained in her 20-year career as a marketing and sales executive. She finds her bliss in helping teams and leaders grow, communicate, and achieve. She facilitates team building and communications workshops with organizations interested in developing a true competitive advantage. She also works one-on-one with leaders who communicate in a way that brings about real change. Joanne graduated from UCLA with an Economics degree and began her career in residential property management. After her next stop in corporate recruiting, she went back to school, earning her MBA from UC Davis, emphasizing marketing, and market research. She then landed a position in product development at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. She enjoyed 17 years at Schwab in a variety of positions, most recently as Chief of Staff to the President of Schwab Institutional, and as National Vice President of the Schwab Advisor Network.

You cannot over-rehearse your presentation or speech. The more you practice and the more you know about the information you are presenting the more comfortable you will be.
Be authentic and in the flow but do not memorize your material verbatim.
