    According to Statista, "in 2022, the total number of homicides by shooting in Canada increased by 45 numbers (+15.1 percent) since 2021. With 343 numbers, the total number thereby reached its highest value in the observed period."

    In this series, I explore this topic a bit further. I hope to spark a conversation with the hope that it will lead us to a clear path forward. I am confident that conversations such as these could provide us with an insight to truly understand why many young people are falling victim to senseless crime.
