The Compline Service from St. Mark's Cathedral

Thank you St. Mark’s! I have been listening to Compline on your podcast for about four years.

Has been a comfort to me for years.

During work breaks, I love listening to the Compline Choir. I work in a hard-hit section of the workforce so there are a lot of people whose emotional/mental health is not as it usually is. This is calming, centering, and brings charity back to my heart. Thank you!

I live in Connecticut and have listened to Compline almost every Sunday evening (one week delay) for the past year and a half. Although I attend Sunday morning services in my home church, I like being part of an online congregation. At first I tried several other online Compline podcasts but kept coming back to this one. The voices, the music selections, and the arrangements are superb. I thought why don’t they have female choristers but now I’m used to the all-male choir. The roaring lion imagery and the Holy Ghost are a bit anachronistic for me. Listening was a trial when the windows were being replaced but now the room acoustics and audio engineers have created a sense of space that I can inhabit with those actually there.
