Marathon mania, 17th century deaths and a murder trial media frenzy
In this conversation, Cassie, Sophie and Jen discuss various topics, including road rage, the London Marathon, unusual causes of death in the past, and how they would like to die. They also mention a man who ran the marathon while drinking wine, a Belgian brewery worker with a rare condition that causes his body to produce alcohol, and a tweet about causes of death in London in 1632. The conversation discusses the ongoing trial of Karen Reed, who is charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter while operating under the influence of alcohol, and leaving the scene of personal injury and death. The case is highly divisive, with Karen maintaining her innocence and claiming that she is being framed in a police cover-up. The timeline of events leading up to the death of John O'Keefe is explored, including Karen's changing story and the discovery of evidence such as a broken taillight and DNA on the scene. The defense alleges that other individuals present at the party could be responsible for John's death.

Fantastic Podcast
As a fellow podcaster I can be super picky, in fact this is the 1st review I have ever posted on itunes, I just had to take a minute to tell Jen Sophie and Cassie how entertaining I find you. You each bring a unique voice and style to the cast. Since I have almost run out of episodes I’m almost tempted to listen to your Mommy podcast! Keep up the good work.
P.S. contrary to popular opinion you do have some male listeners, and an American to boot!
P.P.S. My podcast is called truecrimebreakdown if your in the mood for some real true crime!!
