Enriching my life in so many ways
I just happened upon this podcast and became an instant fan. Fionnuala and Brid’s approaches to life and friendship and sharing are so very Irish, yet it all feels so recognizable and heartwarming to me here in northeast America, even though I’m 3+ generations removed from my Irish ancestors. It’s not just the lovely accents (though I will never get enough), it’s the straight-to-the-heart-of-the-matter incisive insights made in a spectacularly Irish way that makes them feel like family...fantastic, fun family I want to head to the pub with. I listened on my walk this morning and was completely unsuccessful in trying to keep my composure...I actually had to stop myself from grinding to a halt to have a huge laugh. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. I just love this pair and will make my way through every episode in very short order.
Feels like home
I stumbled upon this podcast last year during the summer and really enjoyed the girls. I am from Waterford but moved to America when I was 19. Being the same age as the girls makes me even happier every week that I can listen to people genuinely like me. It’s like I’m chatting with friends..... especially in this mad world. The podcast is funny, refreshing and genuine. Thanks for delivering every week and keeping me sane while I await to be able to go home.
My favourite podcast
I would never miss a podcast and look forward to every new episode. The girls have such an amazing friendship that makes you feel like you are a third wheel in their relationship in the best way possible! They will have you laughing non stop. Love the topics they cover, always on point!
