How to Become a Patient Father in 37 Minutes

How to Become a Patient Father in 37 Minutes

Today we talk about how to become a patient father.
The Dad Edge started on one of the worst nights of my life as a dad. I lost my patience and did something I regret to this day.
I didn’t grow up with my dad in the picture, and the men in my life were not good father figures to me. I was raised in an uncertain, sometimes abusive, alcohol-ridden household. When I became a parent, I didn’t have a clue. All I knew is what I didn’t want to do, but that wasn’t enough.
Losing our temper does not mean that we are bad, hopeless people. We are only lacking the skills to talk ourselves down so that we can respond instead of reacting to the daily challenges of fatherhood.
In this show, I give you a toolbox of strategies that you can use to understand the triggers, notice the signs, and disarm the bomb before it goes off.

    The Power of Realistic Positivity

    The Power of Realistic Positivity

Let’s get real. It’s been hard to stay optimistic in these chaotic times and pretending everything is going to be okay is not going to solve our problems. But when we practice realistic positivity, we become more effective in our lives and create a ripple effect in the world around us.
Today’s guest is Christopher Wirth. He is the host of the No Quit Living podcast and the author of The Positivity Tribe. He talks about how positivity really works and gives us tactics to add more realistic positivity in our lives. He teaches us how to eliminate negative people in our circle and surround ourselves with a positivity tribe. Christopher also shows us how one act of positivity, one person at a time, will help you become a happier and more effective man, husband, and father.

Great for Men who need guidance and insight

This podcast is great for men who want to know more about and understand the secrets of being a man in this day and age. There is a quote that says “the world your parents raised you for no longer exists.” This being true, it is wonderful to have a place that gets real and truthful about the needed skills and techniques to live life to the fullest in a very nonjudgmental way. You can easily tell that all those on the podcast care and want to help and teach, not just talk.
