Hands Down, An Amazing Coach!

A podcast is only a effective as the creator behind the mic. Hands down, Marissa and her Elevate and Grow platform has been a huge game-changer for me and my approach to goal setting and taking action to reach my goals. From fear, to self-doubt to imposter syndrome, I found myself pushing past the excuses and identifying each roadblock I needed to push through or eliminate. I find myself coming back to listen to each episode again because it feels like you’re listening to the wisdom of a wise friend who wants to see you win. Hands down, one of the best accountability and motivational podcasts that exists today!

Good weekly tips & reflections

I’ve listened to all the episodes so far and I like that Marissa gives us bite-sized tips and questions we can reflect on for the week. I’m working to overcome my procrastination habits, so I can relate to a lot of what she shares. I look forward to hearing more!

Actionable Items

Relatable topics and practical tips and advice.

After listening to episode 3 a second time yesterday, I started to question why I was holding on to stuff from 11 years ago! Tangible things from my nursing school days. I never made it past the first semester and thought back then I’d return someday to give it another try.

Rissa reminded me to leave failed dreams in the past. I learned a lot about nursing and failure back then and I can take those lessons with me into 2021 but the books and equipment need not come along.

Clothes I was hoping to get back into. Yep! Those can stay in 2020 as well. I may need to keep this episode on replay as I work on decluttering and getting rid of things that I’m either no longer using or those which are no longer serving a purpose in my life.

Thanks twin! 💕
