Diary of Someone with a Pattern of Avoidance and Withdrawl

Thanks Flynn!

Flynn’s podcasts are so good I have to pause and rewind them multiple times - but not even because the information is so gold I want to listen over and over again (which is also true though), but because I get distracted thinking about HOW blown my mind is, so then I miss the next 5-10 seconds of him talking about his next idea… because I’m still pondering how I can actually feel my brain expand from following his logic and insights. It’s like learning a brand new hidden language. Or seeing the shape appear in a magic eye puzzle! Granted I listen to him on 2x/speed which probably doesn’t help me catch everything the first time, but I’m too impatient to hear everything he has to say as quickly as possible. I’m ripping a present open every episode- with him right there beside me delighting in my happy response! I mean does it get any better as an authentic, enlightening podcast experience? I think not. Thanks for the incredible gifts Flynn! 🎁🙏🏻🎉🥳🎊

I absolutely love this pod and Flynn’s work! Found him by way of Instagram. I appreciate how he weaves science, personal narrative, research, evolution, and everything but the kitchen sink into his work. At times I find myself reflecting on some of the questions he poses and expanding my knowledge of possibilities. That’s what I think is so special about him, his voice sticks in my head where I am challenged to apply what I’ve learned.

What I especially like about this pod though are the episodes Flynn does with his girlfriend Emily. I love hearing about how a couple is figuring out how to navigate their relationship, work, values, and lifestyles together. Would love to have Emily on more to talk about other things outside of the relationship, as she seems pretty interesting herself.

Excited to see how this pod evolves over time because it’s already stellar!
