An inside look of what competitive ballroom dancing world is like. VERY helpful and insightful! This podcast shows how professional dancers get to where they are today, what it takes to be at the top, what judges look for in dance competitions, how to prevent injury, how to train your mindset, how to run competitions, how technology and dancing intertwine, what career options there are in this market, how to balance professional dancing and personal life, where modern ballroom dancing trends are going, and more. You will be inspired, surprised, sadden, uplifted, and amused by many dance legends’ life stories. If you like “How I Built This”, “The Knowledge Project”, or any thoughtful and knowledge-sharing podcasts, add this to your list and you won’t disappointed.

Informative and gives a different perspective on the culture of competitive ballroom. A good listen on long drives and trips. I’m always downloading episodes for long flights. Motivates me to practice when I get back on solid ground. Great for students, teachers and the general public! I recommend this podcast to all my friends and students.
