    and coursework in plant-based health, mindfulness and stress reduction. Coaching people to help guide them to their happy, healthy place is her greatest passion.

    As a wellness coach, Setarra works with busy entrepreneurial women, helping them to simplify their steps to wellness, through education and coaching. She felt called to become a coach after battling
    a painful illness of her own. Discovering how to heal herself from the inside out, through holistic methods, inspired her to share her learning.

    With over 17 years working in entertainment & media industry; from celebrity makeup artist working with Nickelodeon, VH1, BET & CNN to 4 years as Editor in Chief of TXTURE Magazine; Monifa has also become a Black beauty industry “go-to-girl” for digital content, digital marketing, social media activation and visual campaigns.

    When TXTURE Magazine took a financial blow in 2015, she used her publication platform & contacts to curate creative direction for talent, existing brands and small businesses looking for new ways to connect and gain brand awareness.
    She has worked with big brands including Creme of Nature, ORS, Just Water,
    and Beasley Media group; helping them achieve marketing goals and curation of unique digital strategies.

    Currently, Monifa is on the marketing team for the 2018 How Can I be Down reboot by Reality TV star, Peter Thomas. She is also signed on as the new Creative Director for his company, PTEG. Overseeing creative curation for Club One, Sports One and the launch of his new venture, Cigar One & executing special events. Her goal is to help shape the entertainment industry in the Queen City!

    Kiesha Battles, RYT, focused her academic studies on Asian humanities of philosophy, religion, and modern language. It is through her studies that she was introduced to East Asian philosophies and Indian philosophies (Hinduism, Buddhism), and the most influential: yoga. Kiesha is cofounder of Yoga in Action Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina, where yoga teachers and practitioners unite to build community around yoga and service and creating authentic change. As a Self-Care Charlotte Ambassador, she shares principles for nurturing healthy lives and relationships for individuals, families, and communities. Kiesha has more than 15 years of corporate experience in business with expertise in project management, IT auditing, and training and development.
