    HIGHLIGHTS
▶  “When you get to the power that it has for the panoramas, the power it has for just being able to bring it out in certain situations that you might not be able to bring out another camera. So, there are so many things that the phones can do now that our DSLRs and mirrorless can't do.”

▶  “Your ability to handhold and get sharp shots today is much better than it's ever been because of the mirrorless cameras and their sensors. The built-in stabilization is either in-body stabilization or in-lens stabilization. And even if you're going to shoot indoors today, you can raise your ISO safely to 1600 or higher. The other reason is that we have software today, AI, that looks at the photo and wipes out the noise on a level that even we're just staggered.”

▶ “I think the best way to think about it is our mission is to come up with really cool technologies that enable photographers to be more creative and not have a bunch of junk in their way that they have to deal with.”

▶ “Everybody's workflow is different. People use Photo RAW as their browser before they import stuff into Lightroom. Then, they do all of their editing through Photoshop, and they use us as plugins for Photoshop. We want to work wherever you work. That's why we work hard to ensure it works that way.”

▶  “There is a fundamental mistake in toy photography, which is a common problem. You have to check every single joint every time you take a shot because they tend not to stay tight.”

    HIGHLIGHTS
▶  “At an air show, everybody can get great shots. Even if you just want yourself personally, just airplane pictures, you don't have to get in front of the lines. You get behind the lines, and you got your airplanes right there going by. You have that access. You don't need to be right in front of it and have full access to the air show; you still get great pictures.”

▶  “If you want to do events and then want to do more events, give the person who has hired you or credentialed you what they actually want. Not what you want.”

    HIGHLIGHTS
▶  “I like putting on both hats. I sometimes like telling stories, but at the same time, I sometimes like capturing those images, the truth of reality, and then taking them and making something fantastical out of them. I really love both of them.”

▶  “ People are using clouds, they're using 600mm shots, and they're replacing it with 24mm skies, and I can see them immediately because you're like, that's not the right proportions. Most people can't really notice that, but there is something that you do notice; you feel it. And I think there are people that do then feel that something's wrong. So make sure you match.”

Informative and fun to listen to

This is the audio only version of the video podcast. It is great to listen to when you don't have the opportunity to view the video such as when you are driving or working around the house or out. Often you don't need to see them as they are descriptive enough that you can understand what they are talking about. They discuss the passion and the profession of photography which is what it is all about.
