Lisa King (@the_blackwidow10) is in studio!!! She is a Girl Crush of mine and a TOTAL BADASS!!!
We talk Muay Thai, being a professional MMA commentator both nationally and internationally, how and why she got into the healthcare industry, mental health, fitness, the year she lost her speech and ability to walk, and oh… her stints on both Oxygen’s, “Fight Girls” and Netflix's powerpunch hit, “Kingdom” (Season 3).
We explore how her success both personally and professionally includes never turning down a challenge, staying persistent, and how important it is to treat each day as a gift. Listen along as Lisa shares with us how the discipline of Muay Thai shaped her children and how it could shape yours too! She takes us on her journey as she raised her 2 children as a single mom, maintained an impeccable reputation in her daily healthcare career, was a female leader in Muay Thai, all while wearing sky high heels and raising a mini-farm! This podcast is a MUST!

My new favorite podcast!!!! Love it!
Everything just flows and it’s a good listen
I consider myself quite the podcast expert because as a hospice nurse I spend a lot of my day driving and as such listen to many podcasts. I was wildly impressed with episode one and look forward to future episodes. Lacey is a natural host and is such a joy to listen to. She keeps it real and there are never any awkward silences or “inside” moments that leave the listener feeling like an outsider.
