Ben and Drew are joined by 2023 Trial by Combat Champion Travis Harper of Harvard Mock Trial. Travis returns to the show to discuss their experience during the 2023 AMTA season, how Harvard handled taking a hybrid A/B team to AMTA Nationals, why Travis decided to return to TBC for a third time, and what it was like to end his college Mock Trial career with a TBC championship. 

Drew and Ben discuss the upcoming 2023 AMTA Board Meeting and go through the proposed motions in the agenda. They discuss motions related to increased fees, invention of fact, diversity and inclusion, and some tabled motions that are unlikely to pass.

Ben and Drew talk with Michael Blaine and Connor Nickson of UCLA Mock Trial about winning the 2023 National Championship Tournament. Michael and Connor discuss what it is like to compete for such a successful and storied program at UCLA, how their program approached this year's Nationals case, their path through the NCT field and how close we came to a UCLA v UCLA final round, and some of the key moments during the UCLA v Harvard final. Before the interview, Drew and Ben briefly discuss some notes from Nationals, the Trial by Combat play-in tournament, and the status of some of this year's sanctions.
