Republican National Convention 1st Night Immediate Reaction
Co-hosts Jared Yates Sexton and Nick Hauselman went live immediately after the first night of Republican National Convention and give their reactions to the speeches. Plenty of religiosity abound as Trump was hailed as a touched by God for surviving the assassination attempt over the weekend, as well as a lot of shouting in an attempt to convince themselves what they were saying made sense.

Customer Reviews
Necessary listening, IMO
Jared and Nick show up every week (and then some) with historical and/or contextual perspective and sometimes insight into who and how the wheels are greased. I LEARN STUFF every episode. In addition, they acknowledge our current reality in a way that we HEAR the motivation/emotion in their voices. Their investment in the world is palpable — and in a way that feels like pure humanity in a world where too little of that seems evident. I can’t say enough about this podcast or them.
Becoming Glenn Greenwald
I used to follow this show and JYS on Twitter. His recent decent I to hyperbole and cherry-picked incidents to push a clear narrative to actively support the rich cosplay protestors at elite universities is beyond sad.
