J. Aaron Simmons is assistant professor of philosophy at Furman University. He is the author of God and the Other: Ethics and Politics after the Theological Turn and coeditor of Kierkegaard and Levinas: Ethics, Politics, and Religion. Dr. Simmons is also the philosophy of religion section chair for the southeast region of the American Academy of Religion and former president of the Soren Kierkegaard Society.

Jeff Deyo is a worship leader, author, pianist, songwriter, speaker, and professor. He is known internationally as the former lead singer of the Grammy-nominated, Dove Award-winning group, Sonicflood, and own self-titled project. He is the founder of WorshipCityMinistries (www.jeffdeyo.com) and Pure Worship Institute (www.pureworship.org). Jeff is an honorary pastor at his home church, Celebration Church in Lakeville, MN and a worship arts professor at North Central University.
Jeff lives to help people grow closer to God. He recently released a brand new instrumental piano EP entitled, From Eternity, and his first book, Awakening Pure Worship, was published in 2018 and his most recent book Spark was just released in November of 2021.
