Dr. Simmons is also the philosophy of religion section chair for the southeast region of the American Academy of Religion and former president of the Soren Kierkegaard Society.

Jeff is an honorary pastor at his home church, Celebration Church in Lakeville, MN and a worship arts professor at North Central University.
