Clear-Eyed Insights from Great Interviews

I’ve been an interview guest on many podcasts devoted to athletic development, but this one is special. As a society, we give a tremendous amount of lip service to the benefits of sports — character building, teamwork, discipline, friendship, etc. And yet, as the host of this podcast realizes, those lessons do not magically manifest; we must cultivate them for young athletes. If we don’t, sports can instead endanger the physical and psychological wellbeing of young athletes, and prevent them from developing to their full potential. This podcast has the central mission of lighting the path to that better vision of sports. Don’t take my word for it — listen to one of the episodes featuring a sports luminary, like Michael Phelps’s coach Bob Bowman. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone interested in youth sports — it is that rare combination of interesting and important.
