Think Christian: A Faith and Pop Culture Podcast

I’m not consistent at searching for content about pop culture through a Christian lens mostly because I’ve found it challenging to find podcasts completely lacking a sanctimonious tone. This podcast seems to make it a point to find reasons to look at content critically and argue, “this is why this is a part of The Kingdom.” I love that. Saying, “ yes, you belong,” vs. “you don’t,” is part of Christ’s message to us. It’s not for me to say who carries The Message but I feel like I hear the message in this podcast. The host and guests are smart, and they’re interested in the same artists I am AND they’ve even mentioned artists I’ve never heard of. And that’s kind of hard because I listen to this stuff all day long. Thank you for your work. You are a light. 🤍

I love the variety of the topics and recommendations. The contributors have wonderful insights and I want to be friends with all of them. The episodes equip and encourage me to have deeper conversations with the things most people are talking about anyway.

I discovered the podcast through emails. They cut to the quick. Using contemporary culture, they show how Jesus is found in our real world. Loving, caring, for everyone. Honesty. Humor. Love. Freedom. Thank you!

So I love this podcast- pushes me to consider new things on pop culture- and gives me some good talking points with my college age kids and their friends- I I love their music playlists too! Thanks Josh and team!
