The Safina Society Podcast

This life is but a transitory test, and the ultimate success in this life is reaching its end having fulfilled Allah’s commands with a good heart and avoided His major prohibitions. At Safina Society we seek to offer the faithful the knowledge and companionship that will assist in traversing the test of life and reaching its end safely. It is our hope that these podcasts, classes and gatherings will spark a movement, of renewed intention, renewed study, renewed commitment to our sacred law, as well as renewed love of our Lord.

Also, when they started talking down on Desi food I was like, “them’s fighting words.” I tried Turkish food and I don’t like it. I’m glad they were having fun in the food discussion. In the discussion of the main topic there were a lot of Arabic words thrown that I didn’t know the meaning of so maybe a glossary in the episode description would be nice.
Where are you?

Necessary for Young American Muslims and Those Interested in Islam

As salaam wa alaykum, This podcast has been deeply influential to my journey as being a young Muslim, immersed in the university environment, and trying to balance planting my seed in either the dunya (world), or by deen (faith). Dr Shadee is a blessing to the Muslims living in America, and deeply helpful to youth in picking themselves up. Additionally, very important to making 20 year old boys into proper Muslim men, available for responsibility, and putting their worldly desires in their place, and focusing on their connection with Allah. Thank you.
