    #14 - GDP (Matt Miller)

Finally you all get to hear the long awaited, highly anticipated, long lost GDP Episode! This in depth interview is jam packed with world premiere information and is purely for the fans. GDP is a hip-hop artist hailing from West Orange, NJ and, in my opinion, he carried the North Jersey underground Hip Hop scene on his back during his reign and changed its landscape forever. He constantly evolves himself creatively, as well as spiritually, leaving no stone unturned while elevating everybody surrounding him selflessly. We have known each other for many years way before he even started recording even a single bar period. Matter of fact, I recorded his first piece of music ever and, since then, he took off into the sunset spewing out a plethora of music for all of our listening pleasure and counting. Without Matt, I would've never had the name Al Sauce as he is the creator and giver of said nickname! We had many drinks and fanboyed over each other for many hours remembering the good old times highlighting his entire musical career up until this very point.

    #13 - Sal Pace & Mario Corona

Sal and Mario were an important part of my life, growing up during my teenage years around 1999-2004. Although I grew up in Verona during those years, I essentially lived a second life within the Caldwells. If you're around our age bracket in your late 30s, and you hung out in that area, anyone who's anyone have heard the names "Sal and Mario" before. Absolute local legends backed by urban influence and when we met in 8th grade we clicked immediately. I haven't seen these gentlemen in what is over 15 years, so I was very excited to live through the past, to reminisce on our nostalgic yesteryears, catch up on all the missed time and put it all on display for you here during this episode. We were sipping on that good stuff, taking a stroll down memory lane. We had a slight hiccup with Mario's mic in which we had no time to troubleshoot but thankfully I was able to resurrect his mic track with minimal buzzing for playback. We had a blast and hope you all do as well!

    #12 - Tom Colabraro

Tombo Colabraro is a well accomplished filmmaker originating out of Chatham, NJ. He developed his film chops starting out early filming skate videos on a local level which, with hard work and dedication, morphed into filming on a professional level for the 5 Boro skate team and the rest is history. Moving onto bigger and better things, he is presently known for directing The Fabulous Chi Ali documentary from 2019 and for being producer on the new Choice Is Yours Paramount + Documentary which follows one half of the 90's hip hop duo Black Sheep's very own Dres and the complicated story of Black Sheep along with the unfolding of the unheard posthumous J Dilla collab record DnD. On top of his contribution to the documentary space, he has also extended his reach into the tv series realm alongside projects and commercials for various major corporations and brands wielding a slew of awards in various categories. I've known this guy for over 20 years and it was a blessing to be able to sit down, share some beverages and reminisce on the good ole days while catching up on lost time. We hope you enjoy our conversation!

    #11 - Thomas Johnston

Thomas Johnston and I met at my monthly Grid events little over a year and an half ago and we hit it off instantly. What initially intrigued me about him was his fond enjoyment of partaking in the recreational use of hallucinogenics, but I soon realized we actually have lots of the same obscure interests. Anywhere from video games to gangster rap to our mutual admiration of the macabre. I enjoy having conversations with him so I invited him on the pod to chop it up and have a couple drinks for the world to lend an ear to!

#10 - Jay Baam (Jason Baamonde)

Jason Baamonde aka Jay Baam, is one of the biggest retro video game influencers across all social media! Jay has been collecting retro video games since the early age of 20 and, due to his early social media postings featuring his acquisitions in local urban environments, his social media presence began to skyrocket. He even used to set up alongside his work vehicle after hours a generator powering a tube TV and a retro console, inviting the public to play retro games into the wee hours of the night on the streets of NYC! He's also a longtime elevator mechanic, co-owner of the incredible Breaker Billiards in Clifton, NJ, and has a side venture doing retro gaming installations for major events and galleries! I had a lot of fun chopping it up with my boy, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

    #9 - Bobby Filet

Bobby Filet is an enigma in every sense of the word. If you listened to my first episode with Giavonni, you may remember a story we touched on involving someone selling Percocet's out of an ice-cream truck. Well, Bobby is that individual! Bobby Filet is not his real name, and most of us don't even know his real age. In the present era, his day-to-day financial gig consists of competitive poker. Ever since I met Bobby, he's been this mysterious figure in the lives of my friends and I, a local legend that has many talents. He even wore masks frequently and always covered his facial appearance across all social media platforms. We never asked questions, just accepted this was how he operated and we just carried on with our lives. When we reconnected, he seemed to have dropped his guard slightly, and we started a dialogue on the idea of recording a podcast. Unknowing how it would go, it far exceeded any expectation I had. Not only did he answer any question I asked, but the insight that was delivered explaining the reasonings behind all the intentional mystery was liberating. This one is going to be personal for a lot of my close friends who know Bobby personally. We drank a lot of whiskey and let it all out. It was a therapy session for both of us and I cant wait to share this moment with you all!

Cedar Grave and the Legend of JRE

I thought this was a very interesting and well put together podcast. The host is active and engaging, a born talker. Production values were above excellent and overall the story was highly informative and entertaining. G is a real interesting character softly spoken but with true feeling and comes across genuine and without malice.
Keep it up True Cedar Grove G’s
