Drew & Lacey give us something in short supply, truth! With so many other Homestead and Farm podcasts we only get the good things, the success stories. As if they are afraid of not meeting some expectation, fearful that we might peak behind the curtain and the magic they're spinning of this glorified pastural life will fade. But what The Schoolhouse Life offers is honesty. Something is a massive failure, they tell you. They don't know all the things, they tell you. Want encouragement to experiement, they offer it in spades! Finally someone being real about the hard work and sacrfice and still in love with it all. They offer a wealth of knowledge drawn from years of gaining wisdom on schooling, farming, permaculture, community, family, and holistic healing of mind and body. Definitely worth the listen!
