The Secret In My DNA

Hard to give a review as I haven’t experienced what you have. I have several cousins that are adopted. They each have differing opinions about being adopted. I believe they all knew from the beginning that they were adopted. I agree that there should be better laws concerning adoption. I enjoy listening to this podcast.

Though my story has a slightly different path, the lies are similar. My mom’s legacy is forever tarnished, if not destroyed by marrying a man before my birth and insisting right up to her death that he was my father. I asked often starting at 3 years & 11 months. The last time I asked was at age 35 & 4 months, 3 weeks before she died. I was 63 when I took the Ancestry DNA test, and 64 & 5 months when I found my dad. I was his only child. We were so interconnected that he may have known about me. He had so little memory remaining, that I’d never know. 287 days is all we got before he died. I made the 175 mile round trip drive 40 times. I’m not forgiving of my mom. I think our government destroys human rights in adoptions and allows falsified birth certificates.

Michele’s name was given to me by a friend because of a few things in my life so I decided to give a listen but my gf told me she saw some woman with the same name on a Pro Palestine FB page. I checked it out. One in the same. Look you are entitled to your opinions but you are not allowed to say hateful things about the Jewish race. I guess there is really karma. This whole thing has divided many of us but to literally hate and actually say you hate Jew is wrong. Stay away. She evidently is ok with the killings on Oct.7th. Have seen her written justifications.

I am recently an NPE. It’s a struggle. I’m grateful to hear other people’s stories. Thanks for the podcast.
