If you’re an Occupational Therapist (or Assistant like Rach & Jess), you probably remember that you learned many useful things in school - but you did not learn how to specifically interact with children. If you’re a parent, you probably remember that no one taught you how to raise a child before you actually had a child (unless you did, in which case please email Rach & Jess and let them know exactly what you learned and where you learned it!).

Excellent Resource

This podcast makes me feel like I’m not alone as a parent of a highly sensitive kiddo with sensory issues. I’ve felt alone for awhile thinking “am I the only one parenting a child like this?” And Rachel and Jessica let me know that I’m not the only one. This has been a great podcast to listen to.

Great info

This is perfect for parents of newly diagnosed kids. The world of OT and sensory processing can be really overwhelming for parents this is a good source for introductory info as well as tips and tricks to try at home

Love it and want first 15 :)

I just started listening after a recommendation from our OT, and I love it! This background information is so needed to reiterate what we are learning in OT about my child’s particular sensory issues. I would also like to hear episodes 1-15! Did you start with episode 16?
