A comedy show about pro bike racing? A racing show with comedy? Even we're not sure. These three cycling aficionados met a decade ago as bike messengers and have spent countless hours racing, and more importantly discussing the finer qualities of all things bicycles, cycling culture and bike racing ever since. Join the conversation.
This week we discuss Tro Bro Leon, Nova Mesto and of coarse the Giro. Tim goes on a belt gifting spree before we try our best to understand who helped Pidcock get into the Olympics. Did we figure it out?
This week we talk about all the new kits, helmets and racing at the Giro. Tim attempts to explain crit beef, Spencer breaks down EF's rider profile and Matt picks up some speakers.
This week we talk Liege and leaf through a few great fan emails that really get us talking. We chose our end time Zombie evading bike set ups: Tim's a big dummy, Matt's heavy in the front and Spencer is like a ghost. .
One Hour Photo
This week we talk about all the photo finishes at Amstel and De Branbantse Pijl , eat a little crow from Turkey and buy more NFTs. We also read some great reviews and emails and puzzle out what kind of BMX dad Tim will be.
This week Mark Cavendish had to go and win before the show could come out just to make us look silly. What a guy. Plus Paris Roubaix, NFT's and the 1996 Fleche.
One More Year
This week we throw water bottles to the wind and discuss all the ins and thrown outs of Flanders. We discuss Arkansas cx worlds (before the veto) and celebrate a win 18 months in the making. Plus Matt gets snubbed.
Love the show, but...
I always have to wade through the cycling talk to get to the PC banter. GIMME THAT BANTER!
As goofy as Lycra itself
We cyclists see ourselves as athletes dedicated to training, attacking, suffering and “epic” rides but, in truth, most of us are weekend warriors dressed up like weird suburban superheroes who “play bikes.” That’s why this show is exactly what we need - three goofballs who embody both the heartfelt passion and utter silliness our sport deserves.
My Favorite Bike Pod!
The perfect mix of politics and cycling. Only thing to make it better would be a daily 10 minute companion pod to listen to between NPR Up First and NYT The Daily.
